"Ah, come this way, the Ribbon Crone has all the potions you might want and some lovely silks and trinkets to go along with it."
Lilith introduced Haley to the crone's stall, and the introduced her to Eliza, the girl behind the stall. Eliza produced a really vile smelling brew that she promised would do wonders for fertility, and even warned against twins.
And the ribbons were also lovely.

After Haley spent an amazing amount of Dragons on these potions she continued to look at fine shield of the like of her husbands.
"My dear lady Royce do you know what a good Shield would look like"

"Well there are some very handsome Black Shields in the Market Square but perhaps that isn't what you are looking for... " Lilith winks at Haley. "The armorers and merchants are on the other side of the square, come let's talk to them."
Since the massacre of smiths on the Street of Steel, the eastern side of the market had many of the finest goods in King's Landing including a number of swordsmiths and shieldcrafters.

"You could get Ser Tallahar a nice coat of arms to hang in his manor...you don't need to know anything about his weapons to be able to pick out a good artist. And after we do look at crests, we can go look at the silks over there. There is an aqua fabric that is just to die for, it shimmers pink and blue in the sunlgiht"

ooc: absolutely, one of the great joys of this game is the ability to be in two places at once "This yellow would look lovely on you I think, just the color of your lemoncakes the other day." Lilith held the silk up to Haley, thoughtfully. "Did I hear correctly that your lord is thinking of leaving for Highgarden? This silk might be just the thing for the Highgarden heat."

ooc: LOL!
ic: "Aaah, but we women must be very careful about not depending on having such useful creatures around all the time. As strong as they seem, they can be fragile," Lilith paused. "I remember travelling one New Year's Eve and I met a lovely widow just riding, riding, riding to try to flee her grief. She and her husband had married 40 years before on New Year's Eve but he had recently died. She had been so protected that she felt she could do nothing by herself, "Kept me in his pocket," she said."
Lilith shook her head at the memory, "Protection is lovely while it lasts but it is a fragile commodity."

She smiled. "My husband of course, but he was an old man and I was a young women, so there was not much pleasure to be had there. But I have been a widow for a number of years now, and widowhood has its advantages."
She continued "Of course, young wives with strapping young husbands also are blessed with advantages. And how did you meet the dashing Ser Tallahar?"

"Ah my dear, you are lucky indeed, for to be loved is a true gift."
The day was beginning to turn to evening and it was getting cold. "I think a chill is coming, my friend, perhaps we should wander back to the keep for the evening. A delightful time chatting with you, we should do this again."
