Ser Stafford Mallister attacks White Harbor with the Royal Fleet, numbering 100 ships.
Commanders/numbers for the defense, please. The 3,000 men marching North from Moat Cailin do not arrive in time to participate.

I ordered them to go right when they were leaving Gulltown. That's a really long way compared to the distance between Moat Cailin and White Harobr.

You may have RPed the order then, but the troop movement was only posted today.

The RP would have happened in the past, so the Troop Movement was sent asap, after the RP was finished. Right after their conversation, Lord Manderly would have left.

Even so, the distance between moat cailin and white harbor is miniscule. The fleet would have to go around the Vale, the Fingers, around the penensula then sail up into white harbor.

Ok, but it matters from when it was posted, not when it was sent. Though I will grant that Moat Cailin is very near to White Harbour, probably no more then a week's march.

So that is why I think we should have made it in time. In any case, if this doesnt work, don't man the boats.
Keep them docked in the harbor as closely as possible, and man as many archers along the walls of the White Harbor as possible. Simply shoot at any boats that come close with lit arrows. Aim for the sails, if you must.
Wait for the 3000 to arrive, so they can help defend the city. Ships have zero use in attacking anything but other ships.

The sweepings of White Harbor are raised and given basic training. 1500 man the ships commanded by Ser Roose Manderly and Daario Mataris, while 500 defend the city. Ser Roose Manderly: Expert Swordsmanship - Noteworthy Naval Command - Beginner Battle Command

That would be just stupid to use to move out against the Royal Fleet.
Wait for him to get on to make a decision. Weather that be Manderly or Crow

The Royal Fleet: 100 ships, 5000 men.
Commanded by: 208/110 Stafford Mallister (+20)
159/90 Stafford Mallister
The Manderly Fleet: 24 ships, 2000 men.
Commanded by: 95/80 Roose Manderly
121/90 Roose Manderly 153/70 Daario Tumitis 114/70 Symon Snow
The Manderly men fight bravely, but they are badly outnumbered, and Ser Stafford Mallister is not known as a legend for nothing. Soon the harbor is clogged with the hulks of sinking Manderly vessels. Roose Manderly's flagship is boarded by the Royal Fleet and he is taken captive. Symon Snow sheds his armor and dives into the water, swimming for shore. The sellsword-turned-knight Daario Tumitis manages to flee westward with a few ships.
The Manderly fleet is destroyed.
Manderly loses 20 ships, 1800 men. Mallister loses 4 ships, 200 men. 4 Manderly ships under Daario Tumitis escape into the Narrow Sea.

Mallister does not attack the city directly, and sails south for King's Landing.
