Dear Lords of the Riverlands,
I have fought long and hard beside our army. I was at Skiff's Vale, I saw the loyalist army defeat us, and I was with the army when we were in Harrenhall. I was with Lord Pieter Tully when we escaped from Harrenhall, and I saw him sacrifice himself so that our force may escape from Rodrick. Lord Pieter Tully gave me command just before he left, telling me that the Riverlands needed me to lead them. He asked me to lead the Riverlands so that I could finish what he started, the defeat of the treacherous King Rodrick, and so that I could return his children and Lady wife from Cedric Lannister's clutches. I ask that each of you raise all of your banners for Lord Pieter Tully, who sacrificed himself to save his men. For the Riverlands army, who has fought so fiercely for the Riverlands. For yourselves, so that we may finally reach peace after this is over.
