After waiting so long without word from their ambassador, the Lyseni delegation in the Whispering Sound grows suspicious and attempt to sail for Lys without the permission from their "hosts".
They are immediately set upon by a large patrol of Redwyne ships. The Lyseni attempt to outsail the Far Reachmen but are caught and boarded. All Lyseni who attempt to fight back are killed.
