With both leaders of the mercenary company assassinated, the grotesquely fat quartermaster shouts at his men until they enter something vaguely resembling a battle formation. Many of them are still sick, and they put up a poor fight when the cavalry of the Vale crashes into them. It is not long until the mercenaries decide that coin is not worth anything to them if they are dead.

500 Valemen are killed.
All mercenaries fled or dead.
