They will give the option for the Loyalists to surrender first; and that who do not want to stand for a king that will enslave and burn his own people, to fight with them.

When offered a chance to surrender, Gregor spits in the face of the messenger and informs him that he serves a true king, not some upjumped tree-worshipper.

The troops at Seagard are vastly outnumbered and poorly organized. Only their walls save them from being immediately routed, but even those are not enough.
4,000 Riverland Loyalists killed or captured. 3,000 Northmen killed. Seagard is taken.

All men who throw down their arms are given good treatment, though still held. All those who still defy are killed on the spot.
The citizens are untouched and unharmed to the best of the men's ability.
