The Naval Battle
Round One
170 Lord Bannen Blacktyde (+30)

153 Lord Erton Serry
Blacktyde's ships roar south, and Serry launches to stop the invasion. Sailing right into one another, it is the the Iron born who strike a hammer blow to the enemy. Serry's ships crack, and burn. Serry orders the ships turn for another attack.
Results:
Iron born lose: 2 ships
Mander lose 4 ships

The battle is hot, and wood is cracked open by strong oars. Soon only the sound of rams cracking wood, the sounds of bodies hitting the water, and the occasional clang of steel on steel.
The Ironborn are the veterans of many Sea Battles, and their experience is showing. It is rough going for the Mander men.
Results:
Iron born lose: 3 ships
Mander lose 7 ships

Round three

Blacktyde cracks their ships, and their souls. Serry orders a retreat and his ships sail south East, looking for safe port. Ten ships join the remnants of his fleet, but the Ironborn burn the rest of the fleet meant to protect the shields.
Results:
Mander retreats from Shield Islands with 13 ships, and 980 men.
The Ironborn burn the rest of the Mander fleet.
Mander losing 27 total ships and 1200 total men

Lord Bannen Blacktyde along with Lord Balon Harlaw (Expert Sailing), Jhorgo Greyjoy (Expert Sailing) and 2000 men and 40 ships will pursue the Mander ships until just before they reach Highgarden, which is the first major keep on the Mander. The Ironborn ships are only loaded to minimum capacity, while the Mander ones are at full capacity.
Lord Jakop Kenning will lead the rest in taking the keeps.

Serry: 151
Delayed somewhat by the wreckage of the Mander fleet in the way, the swifter, lighter ships of the Ironborn nonetheless manage to catch up to and sink a few Mander ships lagging behind.
The Mander fleet loses 3 more ships, reaches safe harbor.
