7) Character Personal History: Jayk Redwyne was an inquisitive child, interested in almost everything he saw and an incessant asker of questions. The Arbor's proximity to Oldtown afforded him access to some of the finest Maesters in Westeros as tutors. He proved to be intelligent and receptive, with a respect for knowledge and (in particular) with an interest in all things to do with the sea. He had a strong sense of duty, instilled in him by his conscientious father Lord Peyton Redwyne, and did his best to acquire all those skills that a Lord of such a mercantile region as the Arbor might need. His fascination with carpentry was encouraged; the maintenance of the Redwyne fleet was an important duty for the lords of the Arbor, and being able to judge the ship builders' efforts himself could only be a bonus.
As a fighter, Jayk acquitted himself well enough. He was a fair enough swordsman, fierce on the attack but not to the point of recklessness. His preference was for the bastard sword, wearing studded leather rather than anything that would drag him to the bottom of the ocean in an instant. He also received the compulsory training in the use of the lance that any lord must have, but obviously an islander would never have the opportunity or motive to become a fantastic rider.
To give him some experience away from the Arbor, Lord Peyton sent Jayk to squire with the Cuys. Recent conflicts with Dorne had made the House more militaristic, so he learned many of the ways of knighthood there. Once he had finally earned the title of 'Ser', Jayk returned to the Arbor to oversee an overhaul of the Redwyne fleet; trading for the necessary materials gave him some experience in dealing with the merchants who frequently passed through the Arbor. For the next decade Jayk spent his time fighting pirates and improving the Redwynes' trade links, particularly with prosperous Sunspear.
8) Character Physical Description: Jayk is of average height, with a tanned and wiry figure. His blond hair and happy blue eyes give him a somewhat carefree appearance. At home, inspecting the vineyards or strolling in the countryside Jayk appears very relaxed; on horseback and when discussing weighty matters, this is not the case.
9) Character Reputation: His skill at arms is not ranked amongst the highest in the land, but it is not shameful either. There's a good chance that those with trading interests in the Far Reach or Dorne will have heard of him, and will probably respect his efforts there. What he is most well known for is his ship building; naval commanders and those on the lookout for finely constructed ships will likely know his name.

7) Character Personal History: Ser Furman is, in brief, Lord Jayk's envious younger brother. A fierce, passionate and somewhat greedy man, his jealousy has turned to scorn, and to see the two men in the same room is not a pleasant experience. Not at all good with animals, Furman has forsaken jousting to enhance his natural proficiency with the sword; he might make a decent fighter if he was not consistently drunk. He enjoys wine to the point of excess; not just from the Arbor, but from elsewhere also.
Furman grew up almost without leaving the Arbor at all; upon coming of age, a wanderlust took over him. He sailed a ship as far West as Lannisport and as far East as King's Landing, trading and amassing a collection of fine wine. There were rumours, dogging his footsteps upon occasion, that he had taken to smuggling, but nothing was ever proven.
Ultimately, Furman is loyal to his heritage; House Redwyne. His personal enmity with his brother can create some ugly tensions, but at a distance the two are capable of cooperating to a certain extent.
8) Character Physical Description: Furman has muddy red-brown hair, angry blue-grey eyes and a noticeable belly.
9) Character Reputation: Furman is known as a drunk to those who have heard of him, but a resourceful, fierce and cunning drunk at that, with a fine taste in wine. His wine cellar is one of the finest in the Reach. He is good at making friends with those who do not mind their companions being somewhat heavy drinkers, and who have a less than untarnished reputation.
