I want to get revenge but it would be suicide to attack the Iron Islands.

They will be avenged, but I don't think the time is now. We need to let the peace be restored, collective guards lowered etc, and than we can look to our enemies. In my humble opinion that's the Ironborn and the Boltons. They were the most criminally treacherous. Possibly Lannister and Blackwood, but they were more respectable at least. It's the Harlaws and the Boltons we should be after. But patience first.

Essentially yes. I'm told there will be a Crown investigation into the murder and devastation on the Shield Islands. We can use this as a stick to beat the Iron men with. In the mean time build up some alliances and friendships to help counter our enemies, Rebuild our fleet, and regrow our manpower. Then when we can take revenge it will be total.

Think less Obi Wan and more Michael Corleone.

I like total revenge. If I survive I'm going to go around and thank the men who helped me live. Mainly Rhodri and Horas and try to build up our relations with the Blackwoods and Arryn's.

Relations between the Royces and the Far Reach should be fairly well cemented in the next few months. Improving relations with the Blackwoods and the Stormlands would be useful as well. I doubt any reconciliation is possible with the Lannisters, at least while Randal lives, it couldn't hurt to try.
