So what are we going to do about the Ironborn taking the Shield Islands?

I just had a great Idea how about instead of taking back the Shields we attack the Iron Islands.

nah cause then we will be no better then the ironborn

So we want our Shields back and by doing this it would force them to return the Iron Fleet.

I have already moved the force from Crakehall to seize Pyke. Smith tells me we were successful, but has not posted it yet. we can than negotiate a trade, shield Islands for Pyke.

As far as I am concerned, both Mander and Far Reach are at war with the Iron born until the Shield Islands are returned. a peace treaty is thinner than our genealogy, and I will not let my mother's brother down.

Francis never asked for it. And Tall being regent was out of the question, we mainly argued for reasons to keep him alive.

The Ironborn have rejected offers to swap Pyke for the Shield Islands. They may or may not decide to take them by force. our men at Pyke have been told to sell their lives dearly if an attempt to retake it occurs. Hopefully it will bloody them enough that we can slip in and retake the shield Islands.

Because remember from the books it says how the way into Pyke is very difficult if you set up some catapults or something you could destroy the whole Iron Fleet.
