Lord Martyn Lefford and his newly acquired Maester Josef ask to speak to the Hand. They are perfectly alone and unarmed.

They are ushered into the keep at Nightsong, though kept under close watch the entire time. When he is escorted into the Hand's room, he looks up at Lefford with a remote air of courtesy. "Lord Lefford. This is a surprise."

"Somehow I doubt it. I just finished several days of negotiationg a proposition with your compatriot Lord Hightower... should I restate it or am I to assume you've already recieved the raven?"

Lord Dondarrion stared at him blankly. "I hope this is worth my time, Lord Lefford."

"Very well..." he sighed as he took a seat and folded his hands. "His Majesty has deigned to offer an alliance to your fraternity. He desires Rodrik dead as much as you and wishes to offer his services towards that end, But first there are somerthing like 50,000 Mandermen in your path, so we'll be attending to that first. Lord Hightower has already given his assent, but I didn't think it was affair to go without consulting you."

"You are planning to get rid of the Mandermen? Unless the Maester you came here with is the Warrior in disguise, I can't see how you expect me to believe that." He turned and eyed Lefford carefully.

"Cedric is better than the Warrior, Your Grace. He is a king, so he is blessed by all Seven. But if that doesn't satisfy you, a war on two fronts will keep the Mander on their toes. Despite the Riverrun fiasco, we do have competent generals."

"Okay...", Breck said. "Deliver your point quickly, Lefford. I haven't much time to idly chat."

"Cedric knows you're kingkillers, not kingmakers. You're rebels with a distinct cause and that cause is cutting off the stag's antlers. Well, we're willing to provide the saw. We can provide coin for troops and transport, shared intel, unified reenforcements... so on and so forth, you get the picture. An alliance, you grace. To prove it, we will strike at Old Oak, so you know we're not.... yanking your chain." He smirked before wiping it from his face. "My apologies, I always wanted to say that to the Hand of the King."

Breck ignored the jest. "Even if that were to happen, what does Cedric want from us?"

"Only that you succeed."

"Act first, because only you prove what you say is true I will agree to nothing."

He nods, "Of course, my brother-in-law is quite a bastard. If you do not attack immediatelty afterwards though, we'll take it as a sign you've disregarded the offer. We're already bad guys, so the Tyrells won't find our actions particularly fiendish..."

Breck laughed. "Attack the Mander? Why would I do such a foolish thing?"
