At th esight of the horsemen, the column comes to a halt; The household knights, led by the ever dashing Ser Arlan trot up to either side of their Lord before he whispers, "Calm down you blasted steel wielders. They fly Lefford colors." He greeted the co ming Lord with a hearty hello and a nod of th ehead.
"How are you this fine day in the Westerlands Lord Lefford?"

"Cold," responded Martyn, for it was. "I presume you've heard of our success in the Riverlands..."

He snorted when he heard about that last part. "Aye, 'success' if you'd call it that. Now we'll be in direct confrontation with the King Rodrick and the affairs of the Riverlands."
He motioned for the group to continue along the road, on their way to Casterly, as he continued to talk. "The problem is, I think we've made our move to Early. And I'll tell the King as much. We should have let Rodrick's, Tully's and Reed's forces batter eachother Before taking Riverrun.. .Now, now we're engaged sure as sure."

He nodded as he rode alongside Harold. "We should've moved before declaring ourselves a soverreign nation. If we had taken Oldtown first, Westeros would not have had time to prepare for us... I fear Cedric has fallen into the trap of pride."

"So I've seen. That one word, 'King' really can affect one's judgments and mood, can't it?" He sighed, nodding before continuing, "I'd worry about what will happen with this bloody damned rebellion. Ho wmany Kings do you think Westeros will have at the end of it?" He finished with a wry smirk on his face.

Smirklessly, "One. There will only be one king or there will be none..."

"Of course. One. King Lannister of Casterly Rock, hmmm?", but it was th elast part that took him unawares..."Or none?" Eyebrows furrowed in question as he turns to peer at Lefford.

"Kings do not tolerate peers. If there are two kings, then one must die. And if that lone king cannot hold his positioin..." he shrugged. "The Free Cities have lived without kings for many centuries. It is not a radical thought... we have already shown our willingness to overthrow one dynasty."

"Times certainly are going through quite a change. But as for now, by the King's will. It will be interesting to hear what Our Lord has been planning for our next move." He nodded before finishing.

"For now, I would hold off on criticizing the king... you've just sworn your allegiance, after all, and a 'great' victory has been had." He almost sneered. "Best not soil the royal mood."

"No not worry. I'll make sure there is no staining of pride. But I shall voice my conerns, not with standing. After all, I would be remiss in my duties as a bannerman if I didn't give th eKing advice on certain matters." He sighed, turnin gto look northwards..."And I'll admit, I want to see where we shall move next... Pinkmaiden I'd think..."
