The second night of the Seige, the bridges are dropped by men inside the keep. One hundred of the men who had answered Tully's call were not in fact Piper's men as they claimed, but solders of Lord Prester.

With the gates down, the Riverlanders still fight hard, killing all of the hundred who betrayed them, and twice more their number of Prester men before falling.
