Blair Royce was reading a book, but had not turned a page in several minutes. She kept glancing up at her husband, and then back at the book. Twice she opens her mouth but closes it silently with out speaking.

Blair looked up at him, her large dark eyes growing wider then saucer plates. "It is a treatsie on the Strategies used during the War of Stag and Dragon." She blushed slightly, "A bit boring, but I find it interesting."

Blair smiled queasily, "Well I do not agree. Kidwell was just one warrior. I think there is a tendency of men to over exaggerate the importance of single warriors. Once a knight has a reputation for good sword work, their blade is given credit for every battle they fight in."

Blair nodded, "Most male historians seem to make that mistake. But Elynia of Valyria, and her Sisters of the Cerrulian Order seem more open minded. They measure the tactics of the generals, and the terrain not just the skill of the warriors."

"Nehmen and Lewyn do not write of war. Except were it intersects with their interests." Blair replied, "They are not truly war historians. They have other priorities, which shows in their work."

"Nehmen dwells on the darkness and mystery. He is not fascinated by men, but by the shadows they cast." She replied, "Lewyn also, but in a different way. He seems to search for hidden cabals and secret desires. Lewyn is always trying to pierce his subjects mask, and assumes every one is hiding their true goals."
