Ser Desmond Derry refuses to engage Yancey Smallwood behind the fortifications that they have built. He slowly shifts his forces in effort to flank the defenses of Smallwood. Smallwood moves his men, and then orders a cavalry charge to stop Derry's flanking movement.

Lord Danton Massey's cavalry hits the Riverlander's lines and cuts threw them like they were not even there. They actual pierce deep enought that Massey's spear goes Ser Vayon River's thigh. Lord Tully slinks away from Massey and his spear. River is dragged from combat, by his squire.
Velaryon's right arm is cracked with a mace, and his armor is destroyed. Unable to swing his weapon any more, he is forced to leave the field.
Ser Galahad fighting alongside the King, is dealt a light blow. He stays a horse and continues to fight.
Smallwood's strategy is sound, and the King and his men fierce. 1100 Rivermen fall, as the King loses only 200 of his own men.

Lord Massey's cavalry surges at Tully, desperate to cut the head off the beast. And like that the right flank of the Riverland's collapses in on itself. Soon the King's men are pouring into the hole cutting deep into back lines of Tully's force.
The Blackwood contingent comes into contact with Ser Ambrose and Gower and a force of loyalist Stormlander's they command. In the ensuing fight Ser Vypren is hit in the shield arm, cuasing blood to leak down his steel armor. And Lord Blackwood's helm is hit with a strong enough blow to cave in his visor. Terrence is plunged into blackness. Ser Vypren leans over and grabs his reigns leading his lord from the field.
Daeron is hit by a casual backhand of Gower and falls from his horse. Another steed steps on his legs crushing the joints in his armor's knee. Daeron lies on the ground and is soon captured by a Stormlander.
Lord Commander Mychel Lannister is also knocked from his horse. Lord Vance sees the white armor on the ground, and buries a cruelly barbed lance into his chest. Mychel dies there on that bloody field.
Ser Desmond Derry screams as he sees his lines collapsing. Raising his arm he signals a retreat. He and Lord Tully ride away to the east with many fleeing Riverlands.
3000 Riverlands surrender as they are caught in a pocket of King's Men. 2000 Riverlanders are killed or injured too deeply to fight in this war. 700 of the King's men become casualties.
King's Men: 14100. They remain on the field disarming and securing their captives. Tully's men: 11900 The remnants of Tully's force regroup miles to the East, SSE of Lord Harroway's Town.
