My good Lords' Tyrell,
I am curious as to your plans for the future. I have seen some trends that have me hopeful and also some which concern me. To elaborate:
You have the ability to draw to your banner more men than almost any two other houses. I have not seen the house finances, but by all appearances they are in order. These two pieces are a good foundation.
Unfortunately, because of the first item I mentioned, other families are likely to align against you. As such it should be your most fervent goal to prevent this, by disrupting their alliance efforts, and at the same time fostering our own alliances.
If I may sound out my lords' feelings regarding the great houses? with whom do the prospects of alliance seem good? Which families must be kept out of each others arms?

If at all possible the Blackwoods and Royces must be torn away from each other. I am not totally sure how we can find a suitable way to leave waste to their unofficial alliance, but I believe it starts with striking agreements with the Vale. If they are friends with some of us, despite any anger they still harbor towards myself they may yet (however hesitantly) support us, or even declare neutral should a conflict arise.

At the moment things are pretty peaceful, though I'd be wary of the Royce/Arryns and Blackwoods since Barret pissed them off, but inter-house fighting doesn't look to be happening again for awhile, which is why I'm hoping for a time jump sometime soon.

Perhaps people would support my last post (that is in support of a minor TJ).

why would a time jump increase or decrease the chance of action?

Rindwynd son Aegon is going to be Rhodri squire and we can use that as a starting point as Rhodri always liked Rindwynd.

Aye, but don't let Rindwynd be controlled by Rhodri...
And to Varner: A TJ would increase the likelihood of action, I think.

Yea I know that.
Plus I can play as Rindwynd anyway.

I would suggest against that, given that it's not fair to other players.

I'm not doing anything against my brother. It's less I play as him more he tells me what to do and I do it.

All I'm doing is writing a scenario about going to the Vale as Rindwynd son will be squired with Rhodri. Then having a small chat with him.

It doesn't matter anyway as my Brother is getting his computer so he can do it himself.

Anyone have an idea of how to combat the Blackwood's? Varner, it would be wisest if we could get you into a position of some power. What sort of position would you be most interested in (that would best serve the house), and where would you be located while holding that job?

Varner, I did think about making you my spymaster in King's Landing. That would be secret info, of course.
