Rickon the Horned wolf, rides with his brother. Forty men follow his banner as they ride along.

Kebra once again is with the King. He has his best friends second Son Tallahar Dawnrose as his squire. This is talk amongest the other Mander men that young Tallahar will soon be named Lord of Grassy Vale.

Lord Terrence Blackwood rides among the King's party. In his hand is a copy of the declaration of rebellion against the king. He and his cousin Daeron speak quietly in grim tones, looking amongst the various parties present with distrust.

Galahad chuckles, "Of course, young Selwyn. Now, why don't you finish the story you were telling me earlier, of Bloodwing and the fox," he said, as they continued down the road.
Throughout the rest of the journey, Ser Galahad felt a strange pang of emotion in his chest. The young lad barely talked to his father, and was barely ever acknowledged, as he was often drinking, whoring or off fighting. He did not know what would come, but if anything happened to Rodrick, he knew the boy would take it hard.
