"Well cousins wouldn't it be?" William smiled at the Royce. Both were sons of great warriors and people of legend both had much to live up to in there lives.
"I have come to ask more formally if you would like to come North with me. I leave in a fortnight."

"That is alright I have always desired to look upon Runestone. I plan to go by ship we could stop at Gulltown and ride to Runestone and then return."

Owen arrives with his squire Hugh in tow. When he arrives at the house he calls up to the guards, "Hullo there! I am Ser Owen Corbray, could I chance a meeting with your lord? Is he in?"

Owen shake is firm, if practiced, and smiled pleasantly. "I am. Ser Owen Corbray is my name. It is good to finally put a face to the name, Lord Royce. Your deeds are much loved in Heart's Home, especially amongst those who weren't foolish enough to side with the rebels." He gave a smile as if he was saying, "Like my father and I".

"Boring as always", Owen said, taking a seat and as he leaned back he smiled. "But he's intelligent and dutiful even in his boredom." He laughed. "And he enjoys the peace. As we all do", he said, making an accompanying hand gesture with the second statement.

"I outgrew my bed in Heart's Home, and father would not allow me a new one." He jested with a smile. "No no, I came here to see the city with my own eyes, and preferably work here in some capacity."

"I am his eldest. The eldest of four sons and two sisters. Alyn was a most virile man", he said with a wink.

"It was my intention to serve and stay in the city so the Goldcloaks seemed the perfect place." Owen eyed Brynden carefully.

"I have before, yes. Not a large scale battle, but I don't think you expected that of me." He smiled and played with the hair on his chin for a moment and then slowly dropped the hand.

"I understand the purpose of an officer in the Goldcloaks to be such that he maintains authority and discipline and uphold the law. Despite the recent lawless behavior of rebels and the frequency of wars and battles that pass over the city, the job is not foremost intended as a battle leader, but rather, a protector." He offered a polite smile.
"That of course, is not to say that experience in commanding would not help. As it would and will in my case. I just sought to clarify my understanding. My apologies if I've misunderstood."

"If the King has the coin to make it so, I think it a very fine idea indeed Lord Royce", Owen said with a small smile.
