"Oh, shut it, Brynden," Daeron rolls his eyes and mimes a kick towards Brynden's head. "Not that a Valeman like you would know it, but we Riverlanders have a long tradition of driving the Ironborn back into the sea."

"In any case, have them ready, indeed," Galahad smiled. "If I recall, the Ironborn once ruled the Riverlands. I call it even."

Daeron turns to look at the vaguely familiar Kingsguard. "Aye, and they don't any longer. My point exactly." He twirls his flail a few times, turning his eyes back to Nors. "Not that I'd mind the salt wives. Even Iron Islanders can't get everything wrong."

Nors guffawed loudly, lifting his warhammer up and resting it on his shoulder, "I don't ever remember hearing of Rivermen pushing the Ironborn into the sea. I remember storming Riverrun twice though."

Daeron shrugs. "I'm from Raventree Hall. Let me know when you've sacked that one."

"I'll get there eventually," he said, thumping his chest, "days have dawned and set without me finishing retellin the list of keeps whose walls I've climbed. But nevermind that, didn't you say you wanted to get beaten by me?"

"Bring back Santagar and Graceford," Nors laughed, as he hauled Daeron to his feet, "I'd rather be beaten in a proper fight than win so easily."

"A proper fight it is then." William enters with his tourney sword grinning. The Lord of Dawnrose Keep did not fighting to beat others but he knew he had to train sometimes to keep up his skill.
Nodding at the Riverlander and then the Ironborn, "How about it? The Sea against a Rose."

"I believe I was here first, Lord Dawnrose, and I have waited long enough for a try at the sword. Either you or him, I'll be fighting."

"I am sorry Ser Knight I didn't not know. I shall be happy to train with you."

"Grgraaaaah," Daeron says after losing. Nonetheless he accepts Nors' hand and rises to his feet. His head swivels as he hears a man in Tyrell colors challenge the Ironborn next. "Bad choice, Ser," Daeron mutters, "bad choice."

"You were told much the same thing," Galahad reminds the young man. "So, who will it be? Nors, or Lord..." Galhad begins, waiting for the man to finish his name.

"My name is Lord William Dawnrose son of the Dawn Raider. Which brother of the Kingsguard would you be?"

"Ser Galahad," he replied, softly. "I never met your father, though I have heard much about him. I fought under his banner in the battle of Deep Den, and the battle to retake Kings Landing, when the Basilisks came to our land."
