Lord Darien entered at that moment and spotted Brynden, as well as Wulf and his daughter. "Quite the site is it not?" He said chuckling to his nephew.

Darien nodded. "It's the true ironborn spirit." He smiles. "And yes, it has been a very long time. You were but a very young adult if I recall correctly." He picks up a blunted longsword.

"I do hope that you've learned something these past few years." Darien replied with a grin, and he entered his combat position.

Wulf lets the axe haft rest on his shoulder and laughs. "Lucky? Were you paying attention girl? You were lucky to last as long as you did."

Aranya grunted and wiped the dust off her trousers. "You might be right..." She shook her head to wave off the nausea. "Your style of fighting is certainly different, I'll say that."

An unwanted grin appeared on Aranya's face. "The men at Stonedance seem to say so!"
Darien held a hand out for Brynden. "It seems my nephew is quite the swordsman, but uncle still has the advantage." He chuckled.

An unwanted grin appeared on Aranya's face. "The men at Stonedance seem to say so!" "Aye, I've seen a greenlander drink, I hope that's not the standard you set yourself to," he said, and led her off towards Pyke Hall.

"I would have drunk with my mother," She said, following Wulf "but she was constantly pregnant. Father used to be a heavy drinker, or so I've heard, but I was goin' my work with the sailors from all around the world. They've gotta tough ale up in Ibben. Keeps you warm when nothing else does."
