Aerio sipped his wine again, before musing almost to himself saying softly.
"Yes I see your point my lord. The former royal house of Westeros have been no more than high born beggars for many years.
He dropped his voice still lower to an almost whisper, so that Tyberion could barely hear him.
"But for how much longer, my lord...how much longer?"
Aerio shook his head slightly as waking from a dream, suddenly more business like.
"But enough of Targaryens. The pressing matter before us is the Rodrick's alliance with Braavos. Can my lord Prince Daario count on on friendship and support from the Westerlands? If he can, that friendship and support will certainly be reciprocated."

"Of course. And, as we are friends, I would suggest you seek out some other Lords to do similar. Qhored Harlaw and I agree on several issues, and it seems that Howland Royce will soon be my goodbrother. They might be interested in your offers."

Aerio nodded at the mention of Harlaw, but then a look of doubt came over his face.
"Howland Royce? Aren't the Royce's closely aligned to Rodrick. He is married to one."

"There are two main branches, the Royces of Runestone, Lord Protectors of the Vale, and the Royces of Duskendale. They fought on opposite sides in the recent war, but I have, or will have, ties to both. Howland is head of the Runestone branch, while Brynden Royce, the Master of Laws, is head of the Duskendale branch, and it is his sister that is our gracious queen. I and my sister are their half-siblings, through our mother. It can be a rather tangled web, I know."

Aerio puzzled over what Tyberion had explained for a minute and then nodded.
"Very well, I shall act on your recommendation. Lys can do with good friends in Westeros."
