Thirty men ride dirty horses into the gates of King's Landing as dusk falls. All of the men are soiled and exhausted they have ridden far to get to their destination. Moving down the middle of the road they ride along in a loose line. Their leader watches the people walk up and down the street with a sad, calm face. His long dark hair, and thick beard are as ragged as his men. Yet there was a difference, and even if he had not been in the front he would have easily been identifiable as the commander. Two furled banners are carried by the men directly behind him.
