Ipithius waves over a bartender, and then takes out a red flask. Slowly he empties the flask down his throat. As he finishes he throws away his flask, "That is my special Imbibing Poultice, now I shall be able to drink more then an Elephant." "Impressive," Terrence smiles. "But I doubt it will be enough. I'm Terrence Blackwood," Terrence reaches across the table to shake the man's hand as the bartender pours the drinks.

Captain Triston Myre, heir to House Myre, enters the bar, a pair of shipmates in tow. He wears black, edged in bear fur, a Northern style which may well have come from a Northern corpse.
After getting himself a large mug of ale, he notices the contest soon to begin, and approaches the Tinker Knight and Blackwood.
"I may have to compete myself, gentlemen. As we all know, the only thing that can outdrink both an elephant and a Blackwood is an Ironman."

"I beg to differ," Terrence moves over to make room for Myre, "The Ironman loses four out of five."

Eyron Sands and Robb Waters sit nearby, sharing a jug of Arbor red as they eye those around them with wary amusement
"The King throws a hell of a party. I wonder how his whitecloaks wash the wine stains out of their pretty capes" Robb laughs at Eyron's jest

Justin and his men sat in a corner of the bar, drinking little and saying less.

Lord Rupert Trant and his younger brother Gabriel arrived, dressed in their finest livery. Rupert seemed quite uncomfortable, but there was something smug in the young Gabriel's expression.

Lord Dudley Marbrand arrives at the party, alone and seemingly grudgingly from the look on his face. One cannot simply turn down a summons from the King however.
He looks around the room, not recognising many of the faces, but recognising their ilk. Rough and of low intelligence, he thinks to himself disapprovingly. He eyes the black bear fur-garbed Ironborn with particular distaste.

Rupert approached the smoke-and-fire liveried new arrival, simply wishing to not appear so unsocial. "Marbrand, is it?" He asked, hoping that was the correct family.

Rodrick hugged Brynden and kissed him on the cheek, "I love my family. I got some thing for you too." The King turned and waved at the back of the inn. Soon too amazingly gorgeous dusky skin woman walked up to Brynden. "A prize for the Joust, I could not give to you at the lists."
One of the woman with long, silky black hair laughs and says, "I am Jizalle, and pleased to meet you." Leaning forward she kissed Brynden deeply on the mouth.

Rodrick laughed and replied, "Good thing you do not have to sweep these woman off their feet, brother." He then turned and stomped away.
The other girl laughed and said in a thick accent, "It was adorable... what you said. I am Yousin." Leaning in she kissed him just as deeply. Pulling back she added, "There is room, up the stairs."

Jizalle laughed and pulled on his arm toward the stairs, "Surely you are not rude enough to turn down two gifts from the king. The three of us will have a very good time. You can tell us stories of your prowess on the Jousting Field."
Yousin added, "And maybe some showing of Joust."

Dudley looked searchingly at the man for a moment. "Yes, that's right" he said. "I'm Lord Dudley Marbrand of Ashemark." He offered a brief stiff bow. "And pardon my ignorance, but who might I be speaking with?"

After what passes for a polite amount of time, the Far Reachers make their ways home from the party.

"Did you enjoy the tournament?"

"Getting knocked off a horse by a Royce and then finishing in a distinctly average position in the race? Yes my lord, it was a bundle of laughs." He shook his head and then looked away.
Feeling some sort of social obligation however, he looked back up to Lord Trant. "Did you?"
