"The Sea Lord is hated by all, and has ruled for longer then any one man has a right." He grumbled, "This move with the Tyrells, and Oakhearts reeks of Delinal's claws."

Viserys smiled thinly. “Indeed my lord. We must act to curb the Sealord’s power and influence where we can. As you well know the Sealord is hand in glove with Rodrick. We would do well for both Aegon’s sake and Lys’ sake to work to curb that influence where we can. Perhaps we can work to foster relations with some of the lords of Westeros. For example Tyberion Lannister’s father was executed by the Baratheon. He would appear to be a prime candidate to help us work against the Sealord and Rodrick. Apparently our nephew Monterys is also a close ally of many of the Westerlanders, courtesy of his upbringing in the West by his mother. The Riverlands and perhaps the Reach are also areas that could be brought in closer to Lys, priming them for a Targaryen return.
"Here on this side of the Narrow Sea we should attempt to settle our differences with Myr and Volantis. A League of our three cities and the combination of our forces would make the Sealord think twice about any attempts to extend his power further south. At present we cannot win a war by ourselves against Braavos especially combined with the Baratheon. The Sealord is ambitious and Rodrick is always looking for a war to fight. Sooner or later they will turn against Lys, as they did against Pentos. Let’s start preparing for that eventuality my lord. The rewards, if Aegon one day ascends the throne of Westeros will be great."

"I am constantly working to form an alliance against Braavos. You go an approach the Westermen." Daario replied.

Viserys nodded.
"What shall I offer the West, my Prince? A trading partnership? A military alliance?
"Should we attempt to use my nephew Monterys as our go-between? Should we offer Lyseni mercenaries to our nephew Monterys to move against the rebel Barclay? Our spy network in Kings Landing informs me that many Westerlanders such as Lord Marbrand and Lord Lefford are assisting our nephew in the re-taking of Driftmark.
"If it please you Lord Prince, I can have one of our agents in King Landing approach Monterys offering him Lyseni mercanaries. Or perhaps we can send Aerys here at the head of a small mercenary force of say 500-1000 men to assist the Westerlanders and our nephew and forge the first ties between the West and Lys. Of course Aerys would at first be disguised as a mercenary captain and would have no discernable connection with you....at least in the immediate short term."

"Not military aid, that would be unwise. Offer friendship, and trading that is no problem." Daario replied. "Any offer you make that I can fulfill I will."

"Very well my lord Prince. I shall do what I can." replied Viserys.

"Good" Daario said, "Anything else?"

"One more question...my lord. Young Aegon. He and his twin sister are now approaching thirteen years of age. You and Aelinor have kept their true identities a closely guarded secret since their births with the aim of one day claiming their rightful throne. However the time may be fast approaching where we need to allow people to understand that there is a viable alternative to the rule of Rodrick."
"I shall send Aerys to meet with Lord Tyberion and use as his support our spy network in Kings Landing. If the opportunity arises in Kings Landing, shall we perhaps allow some of Rodrick's more disloyal lords to know their true identities?"

Daario nodded, "That would be wise."
