Petra crooked her head, "Interesting. You are not very flexible, are you?" She brushed a lock of her hair out of her face. "Only those four things? Does everything fall into those four categories? I can think of several acts a friend can preform that does not fall into such neat boxes."

"I suppose that is a trait of a Hightower milady. If you are overly flexible your tower will not stand strong and tall. But where would you suggest my accounting was lacking?" Justin said, scratching at his black bearded cheek.

Petra crooked her head, a diagonal smile on her face, "I am not sure Justin, but I do believe you are being coy. Delicious." She laughed gaily, "I do not know much about your Tower, but us Beetles, are known for our energy and agility. Can you see all the heavens from atop your tower?"

Justin didn't quite catch what it was he was being coy about it, but he nodded, "You can indeed Lady Petra. I am surprised that you've never seen the Hightower as well traveled as your family has been. Perhaps one day you should like to see it."

"I would love to see it one day." Petra's black eyes were smoky, and her full lips crooked, "I have heard impressive tales of its height and girth. As the Lord of the second finest city in the Realm, I know you would be a good guide." She tilted her head again, "If that is not too much an imposition?"

Justin didn't quite catch what it was he was being coy about it, but he nodded, "You can indeed Lady Petra. I am surprised that you've never seen the Hightower as well traveled as your family has been. Perhaps one day you should like to see it." Irwyn eyed the Lady Beetle with suspicion as she bantered with Lord Hightower. The thought Friends don't shoot friends in the back. kept replaying in his mind as they spoke. "Why do you two have to be so fucking cryptic. I feel as if I am watching two old women knit, your so careful with your words as if your afraid you'll miss a stitch." "You could have saved us all a lot of time Beetle if you had spoken your intentions clearly from the onset," Loren said breaking his silence.

Petra looked at Loren, and laughed, "Maybe you would not judge me for such directness, but a great many men would judge me most unkindly for such actions." She quirked her head and said, "I believe the correct term is 'bitch'." She smiled and leaned in close, "I have to admit my way is far more enjoyable."

"I see little use in words to show the measure of a man or a woman," Loren stressed the word woman to prove he was not threatened by her sexuality. "However, while many a man or woman, can speak roses to your ears. . .they plan your demise with their thorns." Loren spat on the ground and wiped his mouth.
"Have a pleasant evening, Mi Lady," Loren offered a weak bow as he headed back inside.

Whatever spell Petra had been casting was broken by Loren's timely words and Justin shook his head to clear the cobwebs.
"Lord Loren is as... indelicate as ever. But has as a point, so I shall cease being coy. The Far Reach would have friendship with the Lady of Lannisport. We are not afraid of Lord Cedric, nor should you be with a friend such as us. Although retaining an overabundance of caution could prove wise." He smiled at the lady.

Petra smiled at him, and nodded, "We are almost alone with our responsibilities. The strength and health of a city are so much harder to maintain then the mere farm lands our fellow Lords have dominion over. I think a personal friend ship between the two of us would be of great advantage to us both." She curled a strand of hair around her finger, "So I agree, I will do all of what you require from a friend, and much, much more."

"I look forward to your friendship Lady Petra." Justin said, bowing slightly. "I think Lannisport and Oldtown shall be like twin sisters." He offered another bow, and made as if to retreat.

Petra smiled at the Lord and called after him, "Have a magical evening, and pleasurable dreams."

"Most assuredly. Are you staying in the Red Keep this evening Lady Petra? or at some great manse that was your fathers?" Justin asked, after a moment.

"I would stay in the Red Keep, it tis nearer to where the action is, I think." Justin said with a smile and a wink.
