"Why would we want to be known?" Edwyn asked, smiling amiably. "That would make our secrets so much more... accessible."

"Secrets?" Rodrik snorted, "what use are secrets? You can't fuck 'em, eat 'em, spend 'em or kill 'em. Bugger your secrets."

"The Belmores of Strongsong are known for their six bell towers which each create a different sound and tone. Combined with the solitude of the loaction and majestic view, this provokes a rugged yet philosophical temper in the house, much like living in a gold mine makes Westerlands lazy pricks and the harsh atmosphere that gave birth to the Ironmen."
He orders a cup of the Dornish stuff.

Rodrik blinks at Frey when he's finished talking about the Belmores.
The barkeep blinks at Frey when he orders his drink.

"What? You think I'd sit next to a guy without knowing his family history?"

A dark man contrasted by light silks enters the Hall, and takes a quick look around before approaching the bar. "Some Dornish red, if you would." Doran stated happily, noticing a few other men at the bar.
"Well, well. Looks like we have a Frey here, and.... a Hunter. Wait, no, that's arrows... Belmore, that's it." Doran states, particularly pleased he remember. He turns, "odd guests for you Ironborn, eh?" He said to the Ironman who seemed to have been talking with the Frey and Belmore. He couldn't really have cared less if he interrupted them or not.

"And you're the one who arrived late... Darren Wyl, is it?"

Doran smirked, "A sense of humor, I like that. No, Doran Wyl, if it pleases M'Lord Frey." He said, half mocking, half honoring the man.

He pays for Doran's drink. "You missed the fun part, Doran Wyl. We had a nice little mock battle to commemorate Rodrick's victory."

Doran accepts the drink gladly, although he takes a quick sniff before he takes a good gulp. "Indeed, I happened to notice the blood stains while we were on our knees, staring at the floor. A pity I arrived late, it sounded as though it were very entertaining. Who chanced to anger the notorious King Rodrick?"

"The Golden Lord and the former lord. Rodrick thought Vance and Lefford were talking too damn loud, so they pulled out this big epic speech about killing the king for justice and honor and... well, they died ten seconds into the speech, so we never really found out what they were babbling about. Rebels can be so sentimental."

A slightly incredulous look passed between the barkeep and Rodrik.
"We don't have no Dornish..." the barkeep began, but Rodrik cut him off.
"These men want Dornish wine," Rodrik said, staring intently at the barkeep, "go fetch it for them, won't you?" The barkeep nodded and ambled off.
Rodrik turned to new man, "by your speech and dress I judge you Dornish. I thought I'd seen it all when a Riverlander walked in here, but a Dornishman now too? And in the same day? All we need next is a Braavosi and we have the makings of a fucking jest." Rodrik laughed.
The barkeep returns with the drinks and serves it to Frey and Wyl. "Drink up, lads," Rodrik says.

Doran listened, watching Frey. "I don't happen to recall the Twins taking any damages during the war, unlike the rest of your Riverland counterparts. I happen to remember hearing you were too busy sitting around picking your noses, and not too eager to support Rodrick either." Doran stated, becoming serious.

He gasps in mock surprise. "A Braavosi? My, you Ironmen are profane! Only the king is allowed to talk such trash!" He sips his drink while listening to Wyl.
"If it weren't for our cowardice, who would be left to tend the Riverlands? Certainly not Mallister, they're falling apart." He looks about dramatically. "Oh, good, nothing but traitorous krakens. My betrayal is safe."

Doran seemed content with Frey's reply, and turned to the Ironman. "If it were not for the fact that you took many of our coastal keeps, I believe the Dornish and the Ironborn could have been great friends." Doran told the man. He took another drink of the Dornish red, although he kept his eyes on the man.
"But come now, who's to say we can't still be friends? All it would take is some, ah, cooperation." Doran said, finishing quietly.
