"It's good to have hopes and aims in life. A man can do extraordinary things when he sets his mind to it."
"Yes, reaving, that is what we call it. Might be I could use you on my ship, though it wouldn't be reaving as such. Can you pull an oar? As to fighting, well there will be no shortness of that here. Many men downstairs will be happy to bang you up while you try to learn."

Jon gives the knight a lopsided grin. "Thank you, ser, thank you. Make no mistake, I'll be bangin' them up afore too long, ser, no doubt of that!"

Wulf winks at Jon, "oh, I don't doubt. Now go on and get downstairs and help Germun at the bar. And if Red Eyes Raff tries to tell you he's good for a drink tell him he's a dirty, lying whoreson, and he still owes a sack of silvers to the bar."
As Jon was leaving, Wulf looked back up at him, "one last thing, you never answered my question: Can you pull an oar?"

"How hard can it be, ser?" Jon asks with a shrug, before hurrying downstairs to get to work.

Wulf snorted and looked at his old wolf. "What do you make of him, Ripper?"
Ripper licked his nose and stared calmly back at Wulf with his big yellow eyes.

The evening following the Grand Council, Tyberion finds his way into Pyke Hall. He sits at the bar and asks the bartender to find Ser Wulf for him. Jon rushes off to find Pyke.

Jon finds Wulf sitting at one of the long tables in the main room, drinking with Rodrik Blacktyde and Harrag Sparr. He tells Jon to show the lord over.

Jon rushes back, and stammers out to Lannister to follow him.
Lannister approaches the group, nodding to them. He then addresses Wulf.
"Evening, brother. Thought I might drop in and introduce myself. Damn shame we've never met before."

Wulf grinned, "you're not my brother, Lannister, not yet anyway. Too much time spent being Cedric's son for that. But sit down and drink with us and maybe we can feel more fraternal." He motioned to the bench then whistled to Jon to bring more drinks.

Tyberion smiles at the jest and sits, taking a beer when Jon comes back with some.
"Speaking of my father," He begins, "He told me a story once about visiting Pyke Hall. Said Erik Pyke and his brother taught him the finger dance, then drank themselves into oblivion. I hope you're not planning to get me drunk and remove any digits."

Wulf chuckled and picked up a small throwing axe that was lying disgarded on the table, there were many such axes scattered about the hall. He flipped the axe in his hand and looked at Tyberion.
"A man who refuses to lose any fingers at all is far too greedy, Lannister, everyone can stand to lose a few of them."

"Everyone thinks we Lannisters are greed personified anyway, and who am I to dissuade them? Truly, I would, but I have a duel to fight in the morning. Mayhaps afterward I'll come here for a lesson."

Wulf nodded and sipped his drink, "that's true, I'll have to get there early to watch you kill that flower, I'm sure it will be hard to get a good view with so many in the city. It is to the death, isn't it?"

"Hadn't specified. Might let the bastard live, we'll see how charitable I'm feeling. The man has uncles, and cousins, and it might not be too smart to start a blood feud with a large family. But it would likely be fun." Tyberion replies between swigs.

Wulf waved the idea away, "a show of strength is only likely to make the flowers steer clear of you, not take their revenge. Maybe you haven't noticed that family's history of being born without backbones?"
