"Thank you, your grace," he said, already moving to begin ushering out the other children. If he were ever informal with Queen Selyse, it would not be in such company.
"Come now, Serwyn, Alesander, the night is over," he said quietly to the Prince, as they followed the Queen back to the chambers. "You too, Cyrenna. Jennelynn."

Galahad favored the queen a weak smile, though it weakened ever so slightly more at her request.
"I will do so, though he will not like it," Galahad chuckled. He had long since accepted the Kings dislike for himself and his older brothers. He has long since serves as the Queen's sword shield.
"You have a good night, and rest also, your grace," he said. Despite the fifteen years he had served her, and had been her sworn shield, he had never called her anything less formal than 'my lady, Selyse'. "I will see you on the morrow."
As the queen retired, and before he left, he had a double guard placed at their door, for the night.

Wulf coughed as Selyse walked out mid-conversation on him. He decided he would give the princess her betrothal present some other time and made his own exit.
