When Breck arrived he bowed fully to his regal cousin. "Your grace", he said from a bent knee.

"How do you fare, coz?", Breck said less formally as he arose from his position.

"I fare well enough. And you?" Rickon replied.

"Content, coz, content. But I come here on business unfortunately. It's a matter of utmost privacy." He took withdrew the letter his network had taken in. "This was found not so long ago. What do you make of it?"

Rickon said, "I do not know this Lady Hogg."

"She was a contact of your mother's apparently. I recently spoke with an old serving woman who served with your mother years ago. She knew roughly what this letter entailed and told me...she told me that Queen Anya has been resorting to dark magic from the East to gain power over you. To what extent, I know not, but it was said that she is the sorceress behind your lack of an heir, so to speak."

Rickon looked at Breck and chuckled, "Surely you do not believe such gossip, Lord Dondarrion."

"I do not know what to believe. The servant I spoke with was the last of your mother's original servants to survive to this day. All of them have perished mysteriously."

Rickon still chuckled, "I am amazed you have advanced so far in politics. If you are taken in with such bizarre stories."

Breck's cheeks reddened. "You insult me your grace", said, standing from his seat. "I will be at Blackhaven when you wish to see me next. May the Seven guide your way, for I know not who else does." He stood by the exit of the door for half a moment to see if Rickon would say something, or whether the boy was too embarrassed to do so. It wasn't much of a hesitation though, and he fully prepared on walking through the doorway otherwise.
