"The more I see of this, the more I like the location," Jeyne said. "You could have great hunting parties here, and then throw lavish feasts and balls. But perhaps we could find a similar location that is closer to water? Something near the river that flows through the Kingswood? You need water close by, and we could also use it to create an artificial outdoor pool."

Rodrick turned, and looked at the woods the run up close to the rise. "There is suppose to be a pond over that way." Turning he offered her a smile, "Would you like to take a short walk?"

She allowed him to help her dismount from her bay Dornish mare, and a red cloak took Valiant's reins. "Let's walk, then," she said with a smile. "Though seriously, Rodrick, I doubt a pond will be enough to provide water for the whole household and a pool."

Rodrick shrugged, "A pond will mean a stream, or a spring, either way it could be used to our advantage." Rodrick replied as he lead her over the top the hill. "Its a little steep on the way down." He offered her his arm.

She took his arm with a gloved hand, and delicately, gracefully walked down the slope.

Rodrick looked up at the golden rays of sun slipping through the trees creating a picturesque landscape. They wander a short way through the forest until they come to a small pond. The clearing looks like a painting of an idyllic scene. Rodrick smiled, "Almost as beautiful as you." He laughed lightly.

Jeyne rolled her eyes. "Thank you, Rodrick, for that poetic line. Let me know if it works on anyone else." She looked around the clearing, inspecting it. "Very beautiful. I still need to find the water source for this, though."

Rodrick leapt into a tree, and quickly climbed up. Looking around he shouted down, "I do not see a stream. They can be underground though? Right?" He removed his cloak, throwing it to the ground. His breastplate soon joined it.

"I know," she said. "Which is why I still do not know if this is going to be enough. I think you will have to dig a well on the site, Rodrick, probably near the kitchenhouse."

Rodrick kicked off his boots, and removed his tunic. It floated down to the ground, "I will see if I can find one in the pond." He called down.

"Put your clothes back on," Jeyne said sharply, growing extremely nervous when she saw him removing his tunic and boots. "What are people going to think? Rodrick, you know your reputation, and I cannot have scandal on my name! I can't believe how selfish and stupid you are!" Panic and anger gripped her, and she began to struggle to climb back up the slope at once.

Rodrick laughed, and stood on the branch of the tree he was still in. "Jeyne, you worry far too much. I feel bad for you. I am going for a swim." Taking two steps down the branch he dove head first into the pond disappearing beneath is green waves. He does not emerge.

Jeyne ignored him, and continued to climb frantically. Walking off alone into a clearing with Rodrick Baratheon, and if one of her men had seen her with a half naked Rodrick - well, that would have been the end of it.
Jeyne was paranoid about keeping her reputation spotless. She had seen everything her mother had suffered because of the Garrett Redfort scandal. Her poor mother had suffered for years, and almost been killed for it.
Ser Galwyn Fell helped her up the slope. "Prince Rodrick is down there still," she said, brushing her dress and drawing herself up with dignity. "Let us rest in the shade until he comes back."

Two hours later a still sodden Rodrick emerges from the wood whistling. Walking up to her he said, "There is an underground stream, it runs directly under this rise. I think that is a good sign." He throws his cloak, breast plate, and boots in a rough pile near a fire. "Did they put up my tent?"

"It's right here, my lord," a red cloak said, guiding Rodrick to a tent beside the queen's. "The queen is taking a nap, but she told our captain to alert her when you returned."
