He lists off a long chain of uncles and cousins, with the progressively diabolical mastermind Ser Warren at the top of the chain. "If you give me pen and paper, I can give you his signature and instructions for delivering the poison. You'll have to provide me details, though, and let me down to write the stupid thing... and get me some fucking milk of the poppy!" He had a twisted grin on his twisted face after the last part, despite the intense pain.

Olander pursed his lips to hide the grin that would have betrayed him. Stroking is goatee, the crannoglord studied the hunchback for a long moment.
"You are telling me that House Frey is behind the murder of Roose Stark, and the poisoning of my feast, Meraxes?" he said, almost bemused.

"Yes... why, you want a different alibi, mastermind?"

The dagger in Olander's hand flashed upwards to press under to the chin of Meraxes Frey forcefully. Rivulets of red began to mingle with the black blade as he spoke. "You will learn to master your tongue, or I will have it out. Do you understand?"
After a moment had passed, he lowered the blade and wiped it clean with a soft cloth. "Now why would Ser Warren sign a document containing instructions to poison my feast?" he asked rhetorically. "No, I am sure you have proof otherwise."

He moves his jaw back and forth before responding. "Ser Warren is a haughty man who murders women and children alike because he believes the Freys are superior to most. As one of his 'superior' relatives, he would trust me to burn the instructions. Why send instructions then... because I am a simple hunchback who needs his hand held. Though they should know me best..." He sneered with honest menace, "They look upon me like a tumor... fatal to remove, but unsightly... so they tolerate me and imagine I am a lesser thing than reality has formed me into. I am Meraxes Frey, the childlike monster that stalks family reunions. They speak slowly and leash me like a wild runt. Bit I am no man's dog... I am the master of bone and bait. I am my mother's spectre and my father's sin set upon this earth to burn the House of Frey to the ground and leave naught but ash on the riverbank." He gave a cold smirk. "I would think you might sympathize..."

The expression Olander wore was nothing short of disgust. "You would think, and you would be wrong."
The crannogman reputed his blade to its sheath and moved to open the door to the room. With a few whispered words, the guardsmen moved to remove the shackled Meraxes Frey from the wall. Moments later, a tiny crannogwomen herbwife arrived and offered the hunchback a chalky white potion. She cut away the cloth surrounding his wounds, and bound them with strips of linen and a compress of dried herbs. In time, the pain would fade, though the wounds would heal to form three wicked looking scars, to further accent the hunchback's appearance.
Yellow-Teeth and Crow's Feet went to fetch the Pieter Tully and returned with him to Meraxes' Cell.
"Lord Tully," Olander said in way of greeting, inclining his head. "It seems the poisoner has admitted to the deed, and named the mastermind of his crime as Ser Warren of House Frey."

The Frey is quiet and has somehow managed that look Kingsguard have when someone finds they've been shagging the queen... only if shagging had been replaced by being stabbed repeatedly.

Pieter came into the room, and took a few moments to look at Meraxes before turning to Olander. "Yes, I thought as much. Meraxes had already told me of him, and some of his other deeds. It is no surprise to me that he led this poisoning as well. He probably heard I was coming, and sent Meraxes to set up the poison."

"The northern lords want justice done, Lord Pieter, swift and sure. Can the north count on House Tully standing with us to bring the Frey brood to answer for their crimes?"

Pieter nodded. "Yes, of course. I shall bring these Freys to justice. I will gladly bring Ser Warren here to Moat Cailin, where you can dispense Northern justice on him for his crimes to you all. However.. I would prefer to deal with the rest of the conspirators myself. I pray you understand, Lord Reed."

Olander studied the riverlord for a good, long moment before speaking. "I understand, Lord Pieter. Bring the murderer Ser Warren Frey here to the North, and I will see justice done. Whatever is done with his underlings is business of the Riverlands... Though, I would be put at ease if you would permit me to send a band of northerns with you south, to aid in his apprehension."
The crannogman's gaze flickered briefly to the hunchback before continuing. "What will his fate be? I need him alive until the trial of Ser Warren, at the least. Will you be able to capture the Frey mastermind without his aid, or can I trust, Lord Pieter, to guard him well?"

"I welcome your offer to help in his apprehension, Lord Olander." Pieter stated. "I wish to have him with me, Lord Reed. You have my word that I will keep him alive, and keep him in my custody until the trial." Pieter said, clearly trying to keep some dignity in face of the situation.

Olander nodded.
"Good. 600 men will be awaiting you beneath the heart trees at dawn with Meraxes Frey in their charge. If that is all, then you are dismissed."

Pieter nodded. "Your help is appreciated, Lord Reed. I shall return with Ser Warren Frey." Pieter turned and left.
