Current threats to Northern Rule:

Mortimer Pyke, who has sworn to kill Olander

The Ironborn? I dunno on this one, but we could still be at risk of attack.

The Targaryens. I have a feeling....an inkling we haven't seen the last of them.....and what is happening at Dragonstone is troubling.

At the same time, I know King Rhaegar Targaryen is still alive. He was being hid by Horas Blackwood.

Maybe there are dragons, and maybe there are not.

Still...I'm a bit on edge.

I'm doing my best to work my spy network out to figure out things in the north, currently there are FOUR other spy networks. I'm pretty sure most of them are NPC networks, but you never know.

How'd you find out about the other networks?

[Ollie]

I had my spy network look for them.

And what do we know of them?

[Ollie]

this is the PM stranger sent me:

"Your spies say they are under the impression that there are at least four separate spy networks operating in the North from the Neck to the Wall. Three very weak networks, while the 4th shows signs of being very robust. All attempts to infiltrate or or expose the network have failed, and led to the agent attempting to disappear.

The Strong Network's focus is impossible to detect. It does not seem to have any center of operations, and is scattered throughout the North.

For the other three you can not tell their owners, but you have some idea of their purpose.

The first weak network is involved almost entirely in observing the stronger network.

The second weak network seems to be entirely politically based, focused around observing Roose Stark and other important Northern Lords. Your agents report that you, Olander Reed, have likely been under observation for a long period of time, although they suggest that the network's agents do not enter the swamps of the Neck, but instead pick you up whenever you leave that area headed North, or possibly south.

The third weak network is based in White Harbour and the other large towns, like Barrowton. They are primarily security based, focusing on protecting themselves from observation as they hold gatherings. "
