8) Character Personal History: Radek Hutcheson, was born second to a knightly family sworn to the Hightower. His father died when Radek was very young, and Radek was raised by his older brother Darius. Darius was almost ten years older than Radek, and so the two grew up with a relationship closer to uncle and nephew than brothers. Radek's best friend and companion was his younger sister Willa a pretty and vivacious girl, who clashed often with Darius.
At age 11, Radek was sent to serve as a page in the household of Lord Robert Hightower. When Robert died at the Black parlay, and Francis Varner became the regent of a newly created Far Reach Radek was transfered to serve as a page in the Blackbar household. He would later squire for Ser Rodney Blackbar, until he won his spurs at the second battle of Lemonwood, by advancing the Army Banner after the Far Reach standard bearer had fallen to Dornish bow fire. Radek carried the standard of the Far Reach army all the way to the battle of Hellholt, and the defeat of the Dornish.
Hutcheson returned to his home in the Far Reach to find that his brother Darius had sent his sister away to become a Septa at King's Landing. The two quarreled, and are still not on speaking terms.
When the Great Western War began, Radek fought under now Lord Rodney Blackbar at relief of Deep Den, and would later march home again after the suspicious death of Alexander Irwyn. He has recently received word of the death of his sister Willa under suspicious circumstances, and is expected to leave the army at Horn Hill to determine the truth of it.
