The commissioned ship of Lord Velaron, the vessel carries Daniel Lannister, Ser Tristan and some rough looking sell swords led by a man named Baldric.

As the ship is sailing, Baldric sits near the side rail chatting with his man Lyman Stutters. The two are laughing to help pass the time, while the weather is still nice.

Despite protests from the ship's Captain, Baldric and his mercenaries set up a target range on the ship where they practice their crossbow aims. The gentle rocking of the ship as it sails makes it more challenging but nothing that Baldric and his men can't handle.

Lorenza practiced throwing her daggers at a target - she had picked a spot on the outer wall of the captain's cabin. "I've been wondering," she remarked to Baldric, as a dagger hit right on target, "how I shall spend the sweet money your princeling is going to pay us for this."

Ser Tristan of Tally Hill wanders out onto the deck and watches the sellswords practise their skills. He is careful to stay out of their range.

"Da same way," Kerthunk, a crossbow went into the door, "we spend all our earnings my dear," Baldric said with a smile, "Women and Booze, though not necessarily in dat order or equal shares either," he flashes a gapped tooth smile at Lorenza. "I know my woman always gets her fair share," he laughed.

Daniel walks out of the hold, and over to the railing. "BLAAAAGH", Daniel heaves over the side of the ship, wiping his mouth he turns to Tristan," So how did you come into the service of Lord Rhaegar?"

Ser Tristan replied.
"I'm from Claw Island originally. I supported a claimant from the old Celtigar family against the usurpers that now call themselves Barclays.
"I then served Prince Avery who agreed to recognise the claim. But the treacherous Kinslayer King took his uncle's head off over some trumped up charge of treason. Since then I've served Lord Velaryon."
He grinned at Daniel, before taking out his dagger and sharpening it as he watched the sell-sword's training. Tristan continued speaking alomost it appeared to himself.
"Ironic, that despite outward appearances, Avery was in fact loyal to his nephew."
Tristan's eyes met Daniel's.
"You mark my words young man. Beric Dondarrion was behind the charges against Avery and with the Prince's death appears he's removed another obstacle between him and the throne. Dondarrion's father claimed the Crown and Beric I think fancies himself with a Crown on his head. Lord Rhaegar believes the young Kinslayer played right into Dondarrion's hands by executing his uncle. Once the two twins are removed, who's left? Why King Dondarrion."
Tristan continued to sharpen his knife.
"Whatever else they might say about Lord Velaryon, he's fiercely loyal to those who serve him well and a vengeful enemy to those that wrong him."
Somewhat sadly he said.
"As such he won't rest until Avery is avenged. It may well cost him his life. So therefore, our job is to protect Lord Rhaegar, his family and Dragonstone as best we may."

"What are we going to Pentos for then" Baldric says with a bit of curiosity. "Trying to raise some more mercenaries?"

" That is exactly what where going to do", Daniel replied, " As many sell swords and sell ships as possible."

"Ahhh, well then we should stop in Sunspear on the way back," Baldric grinned, "Despite having a pretty face Lorenza also is well connected there and probably could scare up some men in Sunspear that would probably jump at the chance to kill some Northerners," Baldric winked at Lorenza. "If your paying the standard rate I am sure they would join us."

" Thats a good idea Baldric, I was also thinking of stopping off in Summer Isles." He then looked at Trystan. " That is if you think Lord Velaryon would approve.

Baldric snickers, "I heard the summer islanders are supportive of King Rickon. Their ambassador has spent enough time in King Landing and even attended parties," Baldric says as if it is a matter of record. "Also, I am not sure we have enough feathers and rocks to purchase a whole army," Baldric says laughing.

The ship then pulls into the port of Pentos.
