William came forward eagerly seeking to test his mettle against one of the heroes of Deep Den. To eagerly as it turns out as Darien quickly parries his blow and his swift riposte nicks the side of his neck, which could have proved more troublesome had the blade not been blunted

Round Two

WD:159 DS:147 (Light hit to Darien Stone)

William recovers quickly and swings a low blow which Darien mostly avoids, save for a painful bruise on his knee

Round Three

WD:116 DS:194 (Heavy hit to William Dondarrion)

The pain seems to galvanise Darien and, almost swifter than can be seen, his blade arcs around William's guard before he can adjust and rings his helm like a bell. William staggers and falls to his knees, seeing stars.
