Lord's Meeting

"Captain, gather all of the Lords and high ranking family members. Tell them to meet me tonight", Lord Allard said to the Captain of Guards.

All the high ranking lords in Casterly Rock are brought before Allard. Including Lord Danforth Yew.

"My Lords, these are the most important times. Our House must remain strong in the sights of the Baratheon King, yet since we are yet undecided in our position, we must not look to be trying to usurp the throne. I have recieved a raven from Ser Randal abbout whether or not we are going to bend the knee. I replied that I needed some more time in order to straighten out the family." said Lord Allard as he began the meeting.

Continuing, he said,"At this time, I need to hear sides of the argument to join or not to join this King."

As all of the Lords put together their ideas, Lord Allard remarks, "Then I need to get some unknown eyes and ears indside of King Callen's walls."

Randwyn Lannister, Allard's uncle, steps forward. "My Lord, I would have advised bowing to Callen until very recently. But since his men have sacked and pillaged Riverrun I no longer think that is an option."

"We can not crawl back under the weight of such a harsh ruler, knowing that they will treat our lands as such. Why if my own son, Steffen had not returned here to speak with you he could have been killed with the defenders."

"I am not saying we shouldn't serve the Baratheons but I am saying that we need guarantees. Callen's forces are attacking our lands. I think we should make a list of demands and if he allows us them we follow him other wise we go with our own freedom."

Nine That for the next fifty years we decide how many troops are sent when he calls.
Ten for this Large council of peasants, we will name our representatives."

"That is my recommendations. My Lord." He bows deeply to Allard.

"Callen believes since no one is putting up a fight he can do whateveer he wants. This is not the case with Lannister lands. Uncle, put 500 archers along with 300 pikemen stationed around the Goldroad. To the north of Casterly Rock, I want scouts with reports if any troops not flying the Lannister flag are spotted."

"If Callen wants to try to muscle our House into a move, someone must show him that a Lion has a nasty bite."

"One more thing, I want no bloodshed, just observation. Outriders are to be deployed past our men at the Goldroad with messengers comoiing to see me first before any action is taken. Uncle, pick a man to lead those who we deployed."
