As news of the defeat of the Vale Army at Harroway's Town and the deaths of Lefford and Irwyn at Deep Den reaches them, a sense of panic has filled the inhabitants of King's Landing.

Thousands of small folk are flee south towards the Stormlands and West along the Rose Road towards the Mander, the roads are choked-filled with refugees, slowing all travel towards King's Landing to a crawl.
