Rumors were being spread of a Targaryen return to King's Landing, and the small folk have responded virulently in the city where memories of Bloody Aegon and his Dragon remain strong.

Pro-Targaryen speakers have been lynched in the streets and effigys of the three living Targaryens are being burned.
