The Map Room of Casterly Rock is known through out Westeros for its extensive collection of maps and atlases. The Map Room Council is a group of four men who met every two weeks to discuss political matters and their effects on House Lannister.
The Map Room Council Lord Baldwin Lannister Ser Piers Bettley Ser Mauren Lannister Maester Eduard Ser Steffan Lannister
Any Lannister may come before the Council to discuss political matters. The total number of Councilors is variable, the Lord Lannister may add any to its rank.

Most wise uncle, i would advise you to add me to the council. Im sure you will find the worm a useful aide in such... matters.

I will let you onto our council along as you agree to two provisions.
First, you are a Lannister yet you occasionally dress like a stableboy. You carry the Lannister name, so all of your deeds and apearance reflect on all of us. Take that responsibility seriously.
Second, you will be the junior member of our council so you will give the other members the deference they are due.
If you can not live by those mandates I will not have you on the Council.
Now that you are officially on the Council advise me. The King's Small Council has been devastated. How should the Lannisters react?

I... *grits teeth* accept my lords wishes.
As for advice, well my lord, i would suggest using the unfortunate event to gain favour with the king. Jump in before the other houses can so to speak. Perhaps, if we appear loyal enough, we can fill the council with our own, and strengthen our own grip on the throne

And if they were to offer me a position on the Small Council, what would you have me do?

Grab it my Lord. Such power is not to be sniffed at, im sure my Lord realises what the tyrells, Royces or starks would do in such a situation. If my Lord is concerned over the safety of sucha situation, i, as one with experience in these matters, will personally ensure your protection.

So if I were to be offered the Lord of Coins you would travel to King's Landing and be my second in that position?

I would be honoured to be my lords second in whatever position he found himself in.

I thought you would.
I am thinking about offering alliances to Royce and Martell. Neither were represented in the small council before and I think it begrudged both of them. I think I will try and get them to turn on the closeness between the king and the Tyrells.
Any thoughts?

The martells would make a fine ally my lord. They hate the Tyrell flower anyway. It should not be hard to use them to our advantage.
As for house Royce, I know they have several young hotheaded knights hanging around, desperate to defend the honour of their house. Perhaps i could ferment a little discord between say; young ser Jon Royce and ser Talahard Tyrell. Both are young, and prone to a short temper. I could use a woman or something to provoke a duel. Hopefully one of them will be killed, and the two houses will have instant animosity, probably lasting a century.
I must say, my Lord is fortunate to have the worm by his side. I feel my duty as a lannister to tell you that i was offered a sum of gold by a dirty stark to turn on you. Naturally i refused, but it seems my... services are in demand.

It was wise to not accept their offer, Worm. That is a distasteful name, and if you can accomplish any discord, that would be beneficial, especially if you did not seem to be involved.

My lord may find it distasteful, but you will find the name respected among the lowborn. An assasin or theif would think twice before attacking someone warded by the worm.
As for the discord, it has already begun

Steffen enters the map room, and removes his boots, seating himself in a corner of the room, brooding.
