The Lord Hand enters the Small Council with a smile. "Gentleman and Ladies, the Crow is dead, and this time for good." Alexander smiles.
"This should help minimize the damage of future unrest at least from one enemy."

"Who was the captor, and what do we owe them?" King Rickon asked, leaning forward in his chair.

Durran Caron nodded, "And in the end he was awarded no epic blowout. So ends a traitor." He smiled his rare wicked smile and returned to looking through ledgers, listening all the while.

"It was ultimately a member of my man Flea's network, the exact perpetrator is known only to him." Alexander looks around, "I am not sure what was the promised reward as I was not involved with the small council when that question arose." Alexander says scratching his head.

Erik shrugs at the news, saying to the others, "Well, I think this calls for a tourney. Or a feast, at the very minimum."

Tallahar strokes his chin, "I would very much like to meet the man that killed the Crow. I have much reason to hate that black bastard and to reward his killer would please me greatly."

"Well I am sure the man will appreciate your rewards, I will talk with Flea and see if the man can be identified, the boy is very touchy about his network and given his success I am inclined to let him run things whenever possible." Alexander looks at the others. "I think that there was a reward of 5,000 Dragons and a title for the executioner but, I do not know how to properly reward a whole network of people."

"Well, it puts to rest the threat that has been lingering long past it's due, so I am glad for that. If this person does not want to be identified - and she's surely made some enemies from with his "friends" if Horas had any - then so be it. A traitor's death indeed Lord Caron. Once Lady Martell joins her former husband in the special section of hell reserved for oathbreakers and traitors, we shall be able to heal the wounds they created within the realm" Benfry paused "Whilst I am sick of tourney's and feasts, I think some announcement should be made and perhaps some national day of celebration be announced, for local lords and nobles across the realm to fete the demise of the Horas the Black" he smiled at the name. "It wasn't as spectacular as dragonfire, but I'll take it"
