Assassins lying in wait for Horas Blackwood spring their trap, as he crosses a bridge with his guardsmen. Two Crossbowmen open fire from an elevated rooftop, while two more fire from a nearby skiff.
Standing on the opposite side of the bridge are two men pushing carts. They drop their carts and open fire with crossbows. A cart filled with mussels is overturned by a lithe young woman, who pulls a blade as well.

Horas and his guards quickly turn to run back the way they came. Horas stays low to the ground, using his guardsmen and surrounding cover to make himself as difficult a target as possible.
Four guards charge the slim woman. They yell loudly for the Braavosi watch as they do. Two others lock their shields and attempt to fight defensively to prevent anyone from crossing the bridge.

The girl holds her position behind the cart, blades darting, sinking into two of her four attackers. The two men holding off Baldric and Stutters falter rapidly, as Baldric cuts the one man down, and badly injures the second.

The last man holding the bridge collapses, and Baldric attacks Horas from behind, cutting him deeply across the back. Horas' guardsmen struggle to find some way around the blasted woman, who slices ribbons from any man who comes nearby. Soon what little lines existed collapse into a free for all.

The Crow raises his dagger in a desperate bid to defend himself but he can't stop Baldric's sword from lodging itself deep into his chest, blood soaking his robes, as the dark ichor spurts from arteries. The Crow falls. Either the effect of seeing their charge fall, or simply blood loss, gets the best of the guardsmen, as they too succumb to their wounds.
