In Braavos a man named Trestinio is arrested and executed on the charge of raping and murdering the beautiful Braavosi Courtesan Nightingale.

In an apparently unrelated incident, two fires broke out in Braavos. One at the House of Giggles, a popular tavern, brothel and hang out, burned to the ground, and the other at a series of warehouses.
