"Your Grace, my honest council is that the Dornish must solve Dornish problems. We declare all those opposed to Lord Qorgyle as traitors and make it clear that we will support his campaign if required. It will end this silly idea that you support the Martell's from having any power outside of Sunspear and once the first traitor hangs at the hands of a Dornishman then the small folk will subside. If we invade again the rebels will have more cause to make it a war of independence rather then a simple case of opportunistic Lords."
Alexander pauses, "However, your grace all these traitors must hang. You have showed them the Glove it is time for the Gauntlet so all know not to take your kindness for granted."

"Can Lord Qorgyle put them down on his own? Shall we not send an advisor, to convince him that this must occur?"

"And I would again suggest myself for this position. As Master of Laws I am here to see that your Decrees are carried out Your Grace. This rebellion of the Dornish is against the laws you published giving the lands of Dorne to loyal men."

"Loyal men, and Horas Martell Jr." Coldiron quipped.
"Lord Coldiron, we've heard enough about that particular decree for now." said Rickon crossly, "I do need to be reminded again, thank you."
"If Lord Benfry and Lord Irwyn agree, than I have no complaints, but Lord Qorgyle would be in charge, you would only advise Lord Tallahar."

Alexander looks at Tallahar and then to the King, " If Lord Qorgyle cannot act on his own then he will never be respected by the other Dornish Lords and Ladies. He was chosen as Lord Paramount for a reason, if he can't defend his own interests then he will never be strong enough to defend ours. If he fails then I know there is no shortage of able bodied men willing to go back, our Master of Laws included."
"We proclaim that all Dornish Lords who fail to answer their Lord Paramount are in rebellion and will be killed like dogs. We send a raven to Sandstone offering any assistance that he requires but with the hope that it can be settled by the Dornish themselves."
Alexander shrugs, "We returned Dorne to the Dornish because we thought he was ready to lead if he does not think this possible then we can send Northern Armies back to Dorne if required."

Rickon looked among his councilors somewhat distressed.
"Lord Benfry? what do you think?"

Tallahar looked from the Hand to the King to see his judgment on his Hands suggestions.

Durran nodded as he listened to Irwyn speak, "I'm in agreement with the young Hand here. Let the Dornish put down their own problems and the problems won't rest with just us anymore."

"It must also be made clear your grace that your decree only returned the land of the Martells not the rule and only if the Martells carry out their end of the deal and since we do not have her head it is not a deal yet. Their may be some confusion in the realm that Lord Qorgyle is still the Lord Paramount despite what happens with the child."

Benfry nodded at Irwyn's words "It would undermine Lord Qorgyle's position amongst the dornish if we sent someone as 'advisor' to him. That would merely underline the rebel's position that he was not the legal governor of Dorne and merely a puppet for the Iron Throne" he paused "However, there is no harm in raising the 3,000 and stationing them in the Stormlands or Tarth should the situation deteriorate further, they are close enough to go in and stop this before it reaches the scale of the original dornish rebellion"

"And we decided Aemon Webber will lead these men?" Alexander says of his friend from the Dornish Campaign. "No insult to you Lord Tallahar you are more then capable although I think there will be more important matters for you to help with here in the capital." Alexander seems sincere in his words, trying not to bruise the Dawn Raider's ego.

Tallahar only nodes. He has spent many years in Kings Landing and he can see the truth behind mens words.

"Ser Aemon would be my choice, Lord Irwyn. I mean no disrepect to Lord Tallahar either but by having one of the Kingsguard leading the troops, the dornish see again that it is the Iron Throne not Sunspear to which they owe their primary allegiance"

"Lord Benfry, Lord Alex, please make it so." Rickon said, waving his hand to indicate that the topic is finished.
