Welcome Nestor. Let's discuss how to fit you into the family tree, and what kind of character you're looking to play, etc.

I'm Roland Royce, currently the Knight of the Bloody Gate. My father was the fifth son of the last Royce lord, so we're very low in the inheritance order in the Royces of Runestone. The current lord of the Royces of Runestone is Jon Royce. Rhodri Arryn would have been before, but his name was changed to Arryn by the king and so he's not really a Royce anymore. The Arryn line was dead before that.

Also, we've had some upheval lately, and I'm the only remaining Royce in the game right now. The Admin Gaea was Lillith Royce before she became an admin. Then the other two active members were Rhodri Arryn (Lord of the Vale) and Aranya Royce... but they both quit after a very acrimonious disagreement with another player (who also quit). It's a bad situation and they were very good players. I'm hoping they will return, but can't be sure.

We have one other sorta half-member, Sara Lannister, who was a Royce but is now married into the Lannister family.

Anyway, I'm sort of experienced with this game now, and happy to help with anything you need.

Hello from me again... I'm glad that i joined this House and thanks for the sort briefing.... of yours.... So how do i start?
With the scenarios and all that?

Well scenarios are for something you do that's kind of "official." So a big part of the story where something major or dangerous happens. So if you want to do something like that you write a up a story reflecting what you want to do, and include up to two skills you'd like to improve as a result of the story and submit the scenario to either gaea or The Smith (those are the two admins).

Otherwise you can just "roleplay" out in the regular forums. That's how you interact with other players and travel from place to place.

Before we can really get you started on that stuff, though, I think we need to get your character's lineage and background, as well as current location and status figured out. Once we get that sorted out, then we can get you started on actually playing.

I think, personally, it'll be tough for "Arryn" to work out for you, since the line is dead (though restarted with Rhodri and his family). We can work you into the primary Royce of Runestone tree, if you'd like, or make you from some junior branch of that house... Or we can even set you up as a member of the of the banner house family. It's really up to you. What would you like to do about that?
