Tristeza Martell's Chambers

[brigida]

"Wait," she pleaded, as she caught up with him, "I was thinking..." her voice was hopeful, but quiet, "Timm did you a very great favor the other day."

[The Smith]

"Timm did you a great favor." He said stopping to look at her. "He truly loves you. I hate that."

[brigida]

Tristeza did not look the man in the eye as she answered, "Yes...But you benifitted from that favor--considerably."

[The Smith]

The Sea Lord nodded. "I did." He smiled slightly letting her know that often happened to him.

[brigida]

"Wouldn't it be fair to reward him in some way for that effort...?" Tristeza asked hopefully, glancing up to gague his reaction.

[The Smith]

"Would you like to bed him?" The Sea Lord replied, "I am sure that would be more reward then he ever expected."

[brigida]

Tristeza cringed slightly. "No," she said, perhaps a little too vehemently, "I thought you should reward him...and not in that manner, obviously. I did not gain from Harlaw's death--I owe him nothing for his effort, whether or not he acted on my behalf..."

[The Smith]

The Sea Lord looked at her hard for a moment, "You do not have to be ashamed. I know the thought must have crossed your mind before. A man that loyal deserves a great deal." He smiled a tad, "I have even considered giving Villisander the ulitmate reward."

[brigida]

Tristeza stopped abruptly, a dumbstruck look crossing her face, "Villisander...loves you?" she asked incredulously.

[The Smith]

"Villisander loves me with all of his black heart." Sergyo replied offering her a smile, "But I dream only of you."

[brigida]

Tristeza blinked several times; she had known that Villisander had a great love of men, but she had never dreamed that his affections were focussed on Sergyo. In retrospect, this made perfect sense. After a moment, she was able to walk again, "So...will you please give Timm some token of reward?" she asked.

[The Smith]

The Sea Lord nodded, "Send him to me and I will grant him anything he desires."

[brigida]

"I do not think he would be very ammenable to that." she answered awkwardly, "But perhaps I could request something on his behalf?"

[The Smith]

"Surely he is man enough to make his own request." The Sea Lord replied, "And if he does not want anything from, how am I rewarding him."

[brigida]

"I want him rewarded," Tristeza said sadly, "Perhaps I do not owe him for this encounter, but it is true enough that I owe him for others..."
