Timm gallops back, and spins his mount about coming up next to Tristeza very fast. "It looks clear ahead as far as I can see."

Tristeza nodded solemnly. Her body did not seem to be up to its full strength since the culmination of her last pregnancy. Though under normal conditions the wear did not bother her, the long travel had worn her considerably. "I am amazed the roads have been as deserted as they have been thus far. The tourney is not far off--I imagined there would be flocks of travellers even on the less used streets." Hurien had taught them all to apply simple disguises that changed their appearences enough to fool all but the cleverest of individuals, or those who knew them personally. They had been dresses in these guises since their departure from the Sea Lord's palace.

Timm nodded, "I have been choosing roads that are not the most direct route to Kings Landing. It has added days to our trip, but has made it far safer."

Tristeza nodded again. "When we arrive in King's Landing..." she began thoughtfully, "would you like to enter the melee?"

"The Joust has always been my area of expertise." Timm replied with a large proud smile. His whole air changes as he rethought his finest matches.

Tristeza looked sidelong at him, "If you promise to be safe, you may enter whatever event you wish. But the melee would be very oppourtune..."

Timm looked at her and raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"

"There is a chance Lord Irwyn will compete." Tristeza anwered simply.

"I will not do anything untoward, Tristeza. I am a man of honor." Timm practically spits.

Tristeza rolled her eyes dramatically, "As you say," she answered drolly, and spurred her horse forward so that they no longer rode side-by-side.

Timm snarled at her back, "It seems Lady Tristeza Martell wants all the men she fucks to be slimy conniving toads."

Tristeza whirled the reigns around so fast that her horse reared slightly at the tug. The angry look in her eyes did not miss a beat as her thighs hugged the beats body tightly. She glared past Timm to make sure noone had been in hearing range. The rest of their party followed far behind. When her eyes returned to Timm they were viciously antagonizing. "Keep your voice down, fool." she hissed, and yanked the horse about again, haughtily.

Timm nodded, "I am a fool." He kicked his mount and rode around Tristeza toward the open road.

"I knew you'd make me regret it eventually." she called after him in a bitingly passive voice.

Timm does not react to the last verbal arrow and rode ahead to scout.
