Inside The Burrow, Lord Irwyn is up late reviewing income figures from Oldtown.
There is a slight creak, and a slender young man in a black hood slides out from behind the hearth.
"Hello Lord Irwyn." Flea said, shaking off a bit of soot.

"Flea, good to see you." Alexander says, "please have a seat."

The young man did so unceremoniously.
"I thought you'd want to know, You're gonna have some problems with Lord Horas soon. His people have hired upwards of three hundred sellswords out of the free cities. Some here, some there, but definitely buying them up, and the more skilled the better. They set sail for Westeros some time ago, and likely have already landed somewhere in the Crownlands."

"Do we know if the Crow is with them? Or what he intends to do? Three Hundred men does not an Army make."

"Well, the timing coincides with this Tourney. Shortly after the announcement was made the men started being hired up, and they set sail at a time when they could arrive before it started. So I'd wager he means to use them here some time before the Wedding is done. There are alot of armed men in the city, perhaps he has allies, or perhaps he thinks he can decapitate the throne with a swift coup, and than raise his Riverlanders again. I don't know the Crow's mind. I do know his habits, and he won't be with them, or anywhere near by as like. He'll have some trusted proxy instead."

"The Hand and Regent have gone to good length to lock the city down, Can these swords not be arrested once they are identified? No one knows this city better then you, although undoubtedly they are both aware of this problem already?"

"I don't think they are in the city. I tried to infiltrate some men into their ranks, but I haven't heard from my man yet... so I don't know if its worked or not. If it does, he'll try to get a message to us about their location. These men were lancers, crossbowmen, real mercenaries, not blades in the dark. Whatever he's planning would involve keeping them together as a fighting force. So I doubt they are dispersed into the city."

"Well if he intends to attack during the King's celebration the most vulnerable time would be during the King's hunt. We must become intimately familiar with the area before hand and of course send word to the Lord Commander. Although he is an intelligent man who has probably reached the same conclusion anyways. I think that I would like to take a ride with my company before the event to scout out the route and identify possible ambush spots."
OOC: A day or two before the hunt Alexander will ride in the area of the hunt with his company of veteran soldiers looking for possible ambush locations and noting escape routes and looking for other things out of the ordinary. Alexander is Master Ambushing if that can be used as a counter ambush roll.

"Yes Ser." Flea squeaked, "That seems wise. I'll see to it Lord Benfry is notified."
The boy paused.
"Is there anything else I can do for you milord?"

"No nothing else, except I'd be honored if you could find time to hunt with us. The Varner's weasels inevitably could use some practice."

////////////////// Alex entered his Burrow Solar, to find Flea sitting at his desk, cradling something in swaddling cloth in his hands.
"Lord Irwyn," He said, looking up from the bundle, "We got him."

Alexander looks perplexed as he never knew exactly what his network was doing but he felt it was better that way.
"We caught some Dornish traitors returning to Sunspear?" Alexander asks remembering his last order to the boy spy master.

"No milord. Caught us a Crow." Flea's grin widened, as he wiggled his fingers as the baby in his arms, which cooed quietly and dutifully.

"You found Horas Blackwood? Where the Riverlands? How?" Alexander poured out questions as freely as the celebratory Arbor Red which he uncorked. His face a mixture of elation and confusion he poured himself a glass and one for Flea.
