Daena is betrothed to the Worm? House Royce is getting shafted. We offered the Lord Paramount of the Vale in marriage, they offered a landless nephew hated by his uncle. Sure, he'll likely get Riverrun, but Mistwood is all we've gotten so far, and that is nothing in comparison. Still hoping for Storm's End, but the King should be showing more loyalty to his men of Runes... Perhaps a split in the Riverlands, the Western Riverland holdings answering to a lord in Riverrun and the East answering to a Royce in Harrenhal.

THE FIENDS!!!!!!! HOW COULD THEY? ? Very interesting and devious. So the Targ princesses are getting divided, huh? A deliberate split seems to be being made as last we saw Steff was making eyes at our Moon Girl.

The King's actions make little to no sense. He seems to be going out off his way to piss of House Lannister and House Royce, though we were his strongest supporters. He's probably insane.

Is he pissing off Lannister? Sure, he made a Riverlander the Lord Paramount of the Riverlands, but that actually makes some sense. Marriage for the Lannisters to Daena and a gift of Riverrun is a pretty good reward.
But yeah, the King's behavior has been interesting.

Don't forget that Steffen and Baldwin don't like each other, and that Baldwin wanted Riverrun for himself. Steffen has made it fairly clear that he wants to succeed his uncle as Lord of Casterly Rock, whether by treachery or murder.

Hmm...I wonder what Daena thinks of ending up with the worm. I smell Lyanna/Rhaegar/Robert/Cersei kind of messiness in this business.
You feel like making a major play for Daena, B? Get some Romeo and Juliet action going? Not that I think we are really up to fighting Lannisters at this point.

That might make the King mighty angry at Breyn.
As to Breyn's point, Baldwin made some heavy promises to Steffen to get him Riverrun if Steffen forswore his inheritence to the Rock. The Worm did so, and Baldwin is trying to fulfill the promise.

I'm definitly planning on meeting with Daena, though whose to say what will happen.
House Royce is definitly getting the shaft, though the King has promised some reward. Let's hope its the Twins.

God damn it all. I had all sorts of fancy scenario ideas about working the loyalty of the Stormland lords and now the King has given Callen Baratheon of all people the right to choose the next Lord of Storm's End. I don't know who he'll pick, but for damn sure it won't be a Royce or Lannister. So there goes all my plans, including the scenario I was going to write tonight. It would just be pointless now, because whenever Callen logs on next he'll undo whatever I do.
ETA: I think I'll write it anyway. If nothing else it deepens my character, even if my efforts to win over the Stormlands ends up moot.

But you be careful in your repartee with Targs; looks like you are swimming in dangerous waters!

So do you think "Sorry your majesty, it was just a yo momma joke" will cut it with the evil Targs? Crake is definitely making Maerys nasty. Is he the heir? Life would be really hell if he ends up on the throne.
Worst came to worst I could always flee into the hills and hang with Aranya and the Mountain Clans but it would mean that I miss all those KL parties!

I think Maerys is meant to be nasty and his brother the King merely cold. But Maerys is not the heir, I think.
