I have an idea for those excursions that I will post here. I have implied that Nehmen and Piers have a tablet of propechies about the Last Winter they acquired from an ancient Dornish burial site.
If we want them to start sending people. On quests we could use them as the impetus, and the groups could be made of weird compilations of people to fit Prophecy.
We could also use the Cult as the bad guys.
Also we could start having the Red Daggers hire people to acquire the meteor bits.

I like all of those ideas. I think it would be fun to send some people kind of far away, like to Astapor and Asshai, or Qarth, or Yun Ti. Places that are in the book, but are not relevant to our gameplay very often.
What's on the prophecy list, or is that for us to determine?

I have never spoken them aloud so it up to us to determine. And that could be fine. Also these quests could be preparing people of importance who will be needed at the great battle.

Hmm...who should that be? Alot of the people presumed to be important for the last battle (Yohn) are not longer actively roleplayed. But we could have them need guards to escort them somewhere. It might give us a good reason to involve the sellswords, hedge knights and maester seconds and thirds that we have floating around that no one uses.

Yeah... really whoever we say is important will be important. The only two I know for sure are Rickon, and Brynden Royce.

Aranya was saying that she was disappointed Brynden had nothing to do. I want to pick the people who post more often, since these are often time consuming.
How about Yohn says that Brynden Royce must travel to the east, to find the sacred book of (fill in the blank here.) He will be protected by a fearless sparrow to chase away the hawks (Ser Dunnock, Olander's Hedge knight), and (some other player we need to decide.)

Fire. That can throw in the Red Daggers as enemy. Well that leaves a lot of options. Should we throw it out to the masses and see who sticks. Tall maybe or Horas.

Alright two thoughts.
One I think my first quest will be the Case of the Obsidian Mirror. Group of people hired to go an Obsidian Pond north east of Lhaazar in the Red Wastes and fill a mirror's cast with water and then seal it. Then they are to take that to a specific cave in Ibben or the North and freeze it creating a special mirror and return that to their employeer.
Two I think when we do this we might just want to create a special Quest category and create a new folder for every quest to keep track easier.
