Elena rolled her eyes, "Two men can only keep a secret when one of them is dead."

Rickon looked at Aranya, "What would you have done differently Lady Aranya? I personally believe there is nothing that will excuse your actions."

Rickon stood and stared at Aranya, "I have a question for our Mistress of Laws. What crimes have Aellion and his kin committed? It seems to me that they just have the bad luck of being born with dragon blood. I do not condone assassination as a means of making my life easier. I will never allow their death until they commit a crime, or we go to war. Do you understand me?"

"Then prove that in a court of law, Lady Aranya." He growled(well as much as his young voice could), "But if I start killing any who I believe could harm me soon I will be a regent of a lonely realm."

Erik looked at Aranya and shrugged inaudibly. If the Iron Throne was shy about slitting throats in the night, it was the first he'd heard about it.

"This in-fighting does not serve us!" Benfry said angrily. "Lady Plumm had said that she is aware now of things which she did not know previously, so she was not in a position to inform you about it. You screech about not being consulted Lady Aranya, when were we notified that you & the Lord of the Iron Isles intended to murder one of the best guarded men in Braavos apart from the Sealord himself?" he said through gritted teeth. He took a deep breath and visibly calmed himself.
"But what is done is done. Perhaps I should have gone as I originally intended, but that is a boat which has already sailed. The question now is what to do about Lord Horas and also, Lord Coldiron, whether you know of anything about the Lordsmoot. I am not sure whether Lord Dagon is the new man atop the Seastone Chair or whether there will be another gathering. The ironborn have been a staunch supporter of the Crown since Callen's time and I would not want that jepordised"

Coldiron shrugged, "Was a bit surprised by it myself, Dagon's not unpopular... for a Harlaw. Who wouldn't want him to be Lord of the Isles."

Benfry shrugged "You're not a people given to following a name rather than a man. If Dagon is the new Lord then well & good. I just hope he does not do anything rash against Braavos. Perhaps you could speak to him Lord Coldiron. No doubt he burns for vengence for his father. We shall ask the Sealord for his body and weapons to be returned but I'd rather he not start a major war between Braavos & Westeros over this. Not one we can't win more easily anyway" he said with a smile

"Perhaps if milady Aranya could speak to the circumstances under which Lord Harlaw died?" Erik said, raising his voice to show it was a question.

"And, more importantly, where is Prince Rodrick?" Benfry asked loudly, both angry and fearing the response at the same time.

"No other conditions then? Just the sword for your life? How chivalrous of Lord Harlaw."

Coldiron shrugged.
"Well okay than."
